Running for Care Close to Home

2025-2026, Our Stories

Davinder Bhambi is a passionate ambassador for Georgetown Hospital who set out to combine his love of running with his desire to give back to his community. In 2025, he completed two 50-kilometre ultramarathons in support of Georgetown Hospital.

Davinder has already helped raise more than $80,000 for our hospital and has a goal of reaching $100,000 by June 28, 2026. These funds will support the essential equipment and technology our care teams depend on every day to provide safe, high-quality care for patients in our community.

His commitment to giving back sets an inspiring example for his friends, family, and his three young children.

Davinder’s next challenges are the Niagara Ultra on June 20th and Marathon du Mont-Blanc on June 28th, where he will once again run in support of Georgetown Hospital.

His story is a powerful reminder that one person’s commitment and passion can make a meaningful difference. Whether through fundraising, volunteering, or donating, every contribution helps strengthen care for patients and families in our community.
