For almost 16 years, Team Glen Williams has been proving what a community can accomplish when it comes together for a cause. Led by Dave and Dale Cox, the team is made up of residents from the Glen and surrounding area who have rallied, year after year, at the Walk or Run for Georgetown Hospital.
Since they began, Team Glen Williams has raised more than $116,000 for the hospital that serves their community. It’s a milestone built one conversation, one donation, and one year at a time, the result of neighbours asking neighbours to help keep local healthcare strong.
Dave, Dale, and the team know firsthand what’s at stake. They understand that having a local hospital with up-to-date equipment and facilities isn’t something to take for granted, and that message is at the heart of every conversation they have with their supporters.
“Our goal, with the help of all our supporters, is to make 2026 a roaring success!” the team shares.
Team Glen Williams is a reminder that big impact often starts small, with a handful of neighbours deciding to show up for each other, year after year.
